Wild Urban Medicine Mural Project.
Each building in The Loop community honors one wild urban “weed”, painted at different phases in its lifecycle and with an emphasis on its unique architecture so as to be identifiable in real life. The macro scale of the plants in the murals also puts humans in the perspective of the pollinator.
The below pictures are from this project I assisted with from May through late August 2020. While this was a huge collaborative project with an amazing team, selected images are of particular areas that I had a large part in completing.
